Summer Credit Programs
HWDSB's Continuing Education offers a selection of summer credit programs, check them out below:
Reach Ahead for Grade 8's
- For Grade 8 students only.
- Course registration for Reach Ahead (Summer 2026) is now closed.
- Check back in February 2027 for Summer 2027 course registration.

- HWDSB registration for out-of-board students (for Summer 2026) closes Monday, June 15, 2026 at 11:00 a.m.
Summer Co-op
- For Grade 9-12 students.
- Registration for Summer Co-op (Summer 2026) is now closed.
- Check back in March 2027 for Summer 2027 registration.
- Requires registering in myBlueprint AND completing an MS form.
- ADDITIONALLY: Central Placement registration require uploading a resume, cover letter and (possibly) an employer application.
- Note: Summer Co-op Central Placements may close earlier or later, as directed by employers.

Summer Credit Recovery
- For current HWDSB students who received a final grade less than 50% in a grade 9 or 10 compulsory course.
- Summer Credit Recovery registration dates:
- Registration for Credit Recovery Session 1 is now closed.
- Registration for Credit Recovery Session 2 registration is open until July 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
- Summer Credit Recovery registration requires Guidance approval.
- Summer Credit Recovery courses are for HWDSB students only.
Summer Learning Strategies
- For current HWDSB Grade 8-12 students
- Course registration for Summer Learning Strategies is now closed.
- Check back in February 2027 for Summer 2027 registration.
- Course registration to be approved by your School Principal or Student Success teacher.
Summer School Online
- For Grade 9-12 students and adults
- Course registration for Summer School Online (Summer 2026) is now closed.
- Check back in March 2027 for Summer 2027 registration.

Summer Upgrades
- For HWDSB students who have already earned the Grade 12 credit, but wish to upgrade their mark.
- Registration for Summer Upgrades opens on March 2, 2026, in myBlueprint.
- Registration for Summer Upgrades closes on July 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
- Summer Upgrade courses are for HWDSB students only.
